Transformation of a different kind occurs through Slavek Kwi's extraordinary sound work,
Drawing the Air. Embodying the spirit of synesthesia, it manages to be a sound work
that is at the same time intensely visual. The aural feast, which was recorded on-site
from objects found in the room itself, punctuates the space with electronic tapping,
high-pitched squeals, and occasional birdsong, which transports the listener
to a mesmerising electronic jungle.
